Am I getting the full potential out of my Web presence? “Many small businesses are still missing out on a huge opportunity - and at a time when traditional retail is under increasing pressure."
Your Business Plan
There are few business truths more irritating than the one that says “if you don’t know where you are going, how will you get there?”
A web presence (or “e presence”) must be considered as a part of the overall business plan, it must convey the correct image, it must be accurate and robust, easily changed and constantly marketed. It must fulfil its purpose without excessive “clicks”, be cost effective and be able to respond to changes in taste and technology.
This report will guide you through the steps to evaluate your current (or future) web presence to ensure it is aligned to your business plan and that you understand the back office resources required to support your ambitions.
Computer viruses could be about to take a giant leap and start spreading via smart barcodes, warn experts

Google has developed a new service enabling retailers to promote their products to a wider audience.
The search firm said it would adapt its existing Google Base database into a platform on which retailers could list store details and other information.
The online index will be aimed at firms without an existing online presence or ones trying to reach a wider audience. Retailers will not be able to sell goods through the site, which will not compete with "e-tailers" like Amazon.
Disabled people are being drafted in to help ensure websites are usable by all.
The pool of disabled surfers has been brought together by the Usability Exchange, which aims to give instant feedback on website navigation.
Website managers can use remote viewing software to watch how easily the surfers are able to move through a site as it is tested.
The service launches as new guidance is issued calling on websites to involve disabled people in the user-testing.
